MSA 120 Shaft Covers

The fire-resistant shaft doors can be used in buildings for access to galleries where mechanical, electrical, natural gas, ventilation, and sanitary installations pass through. In the event of a fire in these galleries, they also prevent the passage of flames, smoke, heat, etc., into the areas of use. Therefore, fire resistance is required by law for shaft covers used in this purpose.

Our products have been tested according to EN 1634-1 standards.

MSA shaft covers are certified for 120 minutes of fire resistance.

Our shaft covers are manufactured according to the specific dimensions requested by the customer.

MKS Standard colors are RAL 1013, RAL 3020, RAL 5010, RAL 7016, RAL 7035, RAL 7040, RAL 9002, RAL 9005, RAL 9006, RAL 9010, RAL 9016. Colors other than these can be applied at an additional cost. Delivery times may be extended if special colors are requested. Shaft covers are painted with electrostatic powder coating.

Different colors can be applied to the shaft cover, casing, and blades.

The blade thickness of the shaft cover is 65 mm, and the thickness of the sheet metal used in the blades is 0.80 mm. The casing sheet metal is 1.50 mm thick.

Galvanized steel is used for the blades and casing of the shaft covers. This provides the doors with high corrosion resistance.

Galvanized steel has a surface suitable for electrostatic powder coating.

High-quality, heat-expanding Kerafix brand intumescent sealant is used in the sealant groove on the steel casing.
